The Envy
Inspired by the great artist Gustav Klimt.
A piece that took me days to finish.
The process was as following : First I painted the charming lady and the envious peacock, then I painted the paper tiles in various designs and colors, cut them in different sizes, then attached the accessories, lastly secured all of it onto the canvas.
Painting is 24" x 20" x 3/4". Sides are painted.
This is a piece I am sure will be cherished , for her beauty , for the expression of both character and the labor of love .
